I unfortunately purchased a brand new vehicle from Stephen Wade Toyota in St George big in fact huge mistake. Their service department is the worst. They do not know what customer service is . I purchased over a 70,000 dollar car that they won't even furnish a loaner car on a safety recall . I won't be dealing with them again . I did find a different Toyota dealership that will.

Decent experience purchasing a car here. They honored many of the specific requests we made. The unnecessary add-ons like a gps device I had zero interest in were a long argument to take off but it was still done so can't be too mad. Be prepared to walk away if you need to and they will work with you.

Great dealership, fair and honest. I recently purchased a 25 Corolla and prior to making that decision I was admit I wanted to buy the GR Corolla they had. They were kind enough to allow me to take the car home (after financing approvals) as I was certain I would buy the car. Unfortunately, I let my emotions get the best of me and really needed a more family focused vehicle. I feel absolutely terrible for using such a beautiful highly sought after vehicle and not following through on the purchase. Everyone at the dealership made me feel good about the SE Corolla purchase and didn't give me any hassle about using the GR, I added less than 200 miles to the GR as I live in Fredonia and only babied it home and back to the dealership. It's an absolutely amazing machine for whoever chooses to buy it. I'll 100% be going back and (fingers crossed) buying a GR from these guys when the time is right.

Never had a bad experience here for any maintenance on my Toyota. Always within the price of the quote and sometimes it’s been under the original quote. Typically haven’t waiting too long at all and they have even taken care of recalls for me without me even knowing. Decent waiting area and they have a shuttle. Free coffee and snacks for purchase. Micah is usually my service representative and has always been super professional and courteous to talk to. Highly trust this place with my vehicle. Never a single issue.

I purchased a new Toyota Tacoma Limited from the dealership. I have purchased many cars and the salesman that helped me was the worst I’ve ever experienced. after purchasing this new 24 Tacoma, he spent five minutes showing me all the features which I’m still trying to learn most of them online. I would not recommend this dealership to purchase a new car.

Honestly, after reading a bunch of great reviews, I don’t understand why our one and only experience with them was AWFUL…but it was. My parents bought their brand new Rav 4 from Stephen Wade and wanted to sell their 2020 Rav 4 to us so Stephen Wade helped us with our loan. August 17, 2024 we began the process, giving the initial information to Brian (the salesman who had worked with my parents for decades, but was retiring). Danny was the new sales guy who took over for Brian, and it was a joke from that point on. Long story short, we just received our completed paperwork and loan information…in January 2025.

After reviewing Toyota Prius online my hubby decided to check out the the Prius that he liked at Stephen Wade Toyota. He booked an appt with Jessica whom he had communicated with via email several times regarding the selected Prius. Jessica promptly met us at the entrance and greeted my hubby by his name. Right away she took us to the Prius XLT to look at the interior and exterior features before we took the test drive. We liked the drive and the interior functions. She convinced us to drive the Prius Ltd for comparison. We liked the additional features and more comfortable seats. It cost more but this was the car. This was a no pressure sale. Jessica made sure we were happy. She was very thorough, efficient, caring, answered all our questions. Chris in finance worked with us to come to an ageeable purchase amount and payment schedule. He made us feel relaxed and comfortable through the whole process which to our surprise did not take long. Over all we were very happy with the excellent customer service.

I bought a Highlander at the end of 2020. Almost from the day I took it home they have constantly been hounding me to sell it back to them. They call email and text regularly trying to persuade me to sell them back my car. Furthermore after changing the oil they failed to replace several of the clips that hold the bottom cover on. I discovered this when I went to change the oil after the free services had run out. I took it in for a recall repair and they scheduled it for 2 hours. It was 3 1/2 hours before they called me to tell me it was done. They then recommended 7 different service items that supposedly were critical that totaled over $2000. Only 1 of the items was legitimate and that was tires. I will look for my next Toyota at a different dealer.

I'll go 5 stars because of Jerry the service writer. For service Jerry is the ONLY person I will deal with. The rest of the service writers aren't worth a darn. There must be 6 or more and I've had to deal with at least 4 of them including Jerry and he is far superior to the others.

I thought experiences with Stephen Wade had improved, however, as of today, I have low expectations of their service department. I received a text with "other" issues with my 4Runner, one being I needed a new battery. I told the service technician that my battery is BRAND new, as well as the windshield wipers they said needed replacing. I took my battery by NAPA after leaving and had it tested. The battery is in great shape. Your honesty is lacking SW. Get it together!

It was very busy. We came while in town, to look at a specific vehicle. They said it had been sold that morning. Beau was our Salesman. He drove us around on a golf cart to see other vehicles on their lot. We took a test drive with one vehicle. Beau was helpful, kind and friendly. Although we did not purchase a vehicle yesterday, Beau helped us to understand our options better. I think it’s going to be harder to find the vehicle that I want, than I thought!

I brought my 2016 Toyota RAV4 to the service department due to a malfunctioning power liftgate. During the initial visit, they did not charge me, as they were unable to determine the exact cause and required more time with the vehicle. Upon returning the following week, I was informed that the back door was misaligned, causing the issue, and that the vehicle needed to go to a body shop for repairs. At that time, I was charged a diagnostic fee. I then took the vehicle to a body shop, which reported no misalignment. I reached out to Brandon, who took several days to respond, likely due to his busy schedule. I brought the vehicle in for a third visit, during which I was not charged a diagnostic fee. Brandon mentioned that he was assigning his master technician to investigate the issue. I was subsequently told that the touch sensors had failed and needed replacement. The estimated cost for this repair was over $1,700, primarily due to the price of the part. I declined the service because of the cost and decided to explore other options. When I picked up the car, I inquired about the possibility of a faulty computer, multiplex network door module that there had been a previous recall on this component, which expired in 2019. Brandon stated that this was unlikely, as they were receiving power and commands from this part. Nevertheless, I had their parts department order the part so I could attempt the repair myself. After receiving and installing the new ECM and initializing it, my liftgate now operates without issues. I am extremely frustrated by the misdiagnosis and the prospect of being charged an exorbitant amount for a repair that would not have resolved my problem. I am concerned that the technicians did not consider the TSB on my RAV4 regarding the back door, which resulted in the misdiagnosis. Given this experience, I am hesitant to return for future vehicle repairs.

I had a great experience at Stephen Wade Toyota. This was only my second time buying a car, so I was a little nervous going in, but Mike Caraman made the experience pleasant and easy. I knew what truck I wanted to look at and we wasted no time getting behind the wheel for a test drive. Service dept is one of the big reasons that this place is called “Thieven Wade”. They tried to take advantage of my son on a 2023 Tacoma, that is under full factory warranty and upsell him on an alignment(which confirmed with another shop it didn’t need) and a new battery(which their own tester showed it has 75-80% life left) and charge him damn near 600$. Just wanted an honest service tech and got some dude trying to rip him off and after I showed up to confront the service tech about it, they finally admitted it didn’t need it. Woooooooooowwwww!

This dealer insists on running a credit check even for a cash purchase, claiming it's necessary for OFAC compliance, which isn't true. There are other ways to satisfy OFAC requirements without running credit. It seems that customer privacy is not a priority for them. When I challenged their unreasonable policy, they basically said, That's the policy—take it or leave it (they did this through text message--weak!). They made no effort to explain the policy or find a workaround. What a total waste of time. Not very professional. That’s fine, though. It took me about two hours to find another dealer that respected both my privacy and my time, and we got the deal done. Ironically, the deal I agreed to with Stephen Wade Toyota wasn’t good for me. I was getting a hosed on my trade-in and overpaying for a used 2024 Lexus. So, in the end, it worked out better for me to not do business with them.

PLEASE. Don’t buy a car here. It look nice on the outside, and welcoming. It is a JOKE. They will sell you plans that they will not redeem. You will have to fight every time you go for a service just to prove you bought the plan you did. Stay away. Save yourself the headache. NEVER sign onto anything extra.
